Quality for us, is a concept that goes beyond the characteristics of our products, a feature that has to go hand in hand with comfortable everyday wear. It is understanding sustainability, the value of beautiful and good things – then integrating them into everyday life and making it last. The key themes in our pursuit of quality is choosing sustainable and lasting materials, recognizing the uniqueness of designs that last beyond seasons and making sure that every product feels just as good as it looks!
Our products are made from linen & cotton. These materials are not only natural, comfortable, breathable, and long-lasting — they also add functional and practical qualities to each product. Our ponchos absorb water efficiently, staying soft and comfortable to keep on after swimming or showering. Meanwhile, our Ju-pants resist wrinkling far better than a typical linen blend, maintaining their shape and smoothness even with frequent use. The fabrics we use are manufactured in accordance with the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification, ensuring that our textiles are free from harmful chemicals and safe for long-term everyday use.
We avoid attaching to fast-paced changing trends and instead focus on building timeless wardrobe that lasts beyond seasons. When the product has timeless design made with long-lasting materials, It’s simply meant to be loved for a lifetime.

Surf-poncho
Our loved Surf-poncho has its inspiration from windsurfing. The conditions to surf in Finland are usually the best during the fall, which means that the weather is cold and stormy. After a spike of adrenaline in cold water, poncho offers a warm and light hug. The poncho has lived with us the past two years, gaining functions and purpose. It has become the piece you can put on right after waking up and enjoy the morning coffee in, the piece that makes you forget towels since it's perfect to throw on after shower, the piece that travels with you all year around to the coast - whether you are meeting the ocean to swim or surf.
Ju-pants
Maybe the idea of Jū-pants came to life laying on the couch after Judo training, missing a pair of insanely comfortable pants to make the cozy evening even more relaxing, but the end result was so much more. We truly believe we have made the perfect everyday pants that fill the needs of every occasion. Stylish, breathable and comfortable. They can be worn to relax at home, to practice yoga, pilates or judo, to work comfortably at the office, or styled to go. You decide!

Laidun Clothes is part of Laidun-design Oy - a Finnish design house combining architecture, design and art. Based on the south coast of Finland, Laidun-design has its roots in a creative environment shaped by nature, craftsmanship and everyday stories that form thoughtful and unique design.
At its core, Laidun-Design embraces an integrated approach: architecture, visual art, product design and literature come together with a goal to enhance wellbeing and deepen our understanding of beauty. Quality for Laidun is not just the features of a building or object — it is also the way of working, the ways of influencing what surrounds us, and the recognition of uniqueness as part of meaningful design. While specialising in architecture, renovation and design services - the wide spectrum of services also include 3D-modeling for large-scale projects, furniture design and art-photography — not forgetting the delicious production of world-class organic honey right beside the office.
